Xiongliang Studio
Interior design for artist Xiongliang’s office in Beijing, the existing layout was splitting the space into several small office rooms facing a larger working area, characteristic of an outdated office layout trend for state own Chinese companies. The design intention was to create larger shared open working spaces and a “social/event” area that is also part of the company’s activity. To organize the space, a large long cabinet was created. This large cabinet faces both working and events area and offers practical storage and display functions for both rooms. It is the main distribution core element of this office layout.
